Title and Dedication to my friend Tongue.
This is a work of fiction and it is from my book the Scammers Lair.
This would almost be like my last post as it took me a long time to figure things out. And I lived this long only because I wanted to tell my side by sheer will alone. Just my luck that almost everyone I met who I thought was helpful turned out to be swindlers and con men. I made a lot of friends who were nice and honest people as well and I just dont have the energy to write a dedication to all of them but a huge thank you to keeping me up when I was down so much. I certainly would not have survived without your care and friendship. Now my last task is done that I have written about the swindlers that took me for a ride.
I thought of creating a way for this exerts to keep the memory of some friends alive who had died recently and who knew the real story of what happened behind the book......
RIP Bruce Hammond who helped guide me through some troubled times based on the book and was my room mate in mountain view before he decided to move back to his home in Yreka.
Bruce was a very nice person. Always out of help others and he never changed that part over the years. I was room mates with him in mountain view until he decided to move back to his parents for a while. When he started Star Point it was an achievement and one of the pioneers of the commodore 64 era. He tried to keep the company going even though others he depended on flaked out on him. That was the high point of his young life to become a star at such a young age.
What I liked about Bruce was that he was so calm always. When you are freaking out, he is soft spoken and calm and thinking of how and what to do rationally.
I also want to thank the many people who were so helpful. Who helped me when I sick or depressed. I never even knew their real names which did not matter but what they were like inside. But I remember many of them. I tried finding them but because I did not have much info on their real lives, I never found them, although I see glimpses of them here and there to disappear again. I wont write about them but I do remember them even now. Many of them drove long distances to bring me food when I could not walk which I never knew people did, or who came to just talk to me. Its a real shame I never recovered enough strength in the time I had to return the favor.
ps.. I will miss bruce.
