Hes a real great marketer.. Of the $2 per cart royalty he made on wrap speed, he gave us $5000 for creating it. So $2500 for each of us while he spent half of what he got on an IBM PS2 just so he could show everyone he can load word perfect in 1 second flat which cost like $25,000 at the time....

Harrold is a great bullshitter and speaker.. You dont realise the proposals hes talking about are for himself only like when beezos talks about online shopping can become a Trillion $$$ company. He dont say those working for him at the company will only get min wage and fall over exhausted. The talk was something like wrap speed was worth like $2 a piece that's sold so if they sold 50,000 units thats worth $100,000..  Only I ended up making like $200 a month working on it and could have made 10x that working at taco bell.

Another product was the copy protection he did for many companies which took him many hours or days to do by hand and made him a few thousand.. He offered us $200 per piece royalty if we could do something to make an automated and hands free process. And we spent almost an year creating a product that took the code provided by companies and put a wrapper on it that protected it and could be sent to the duplicator for mass production. I thought wow this is great and now I will see some money.. Well not so fast.. After a week or so, he got tired of giving us $200 royalty for each product and marty came and told me that harold wants to buy the entire thing for like $1500 or he won't use it anymore. And he will just copy what we did himself and not pay us anything. So I said well, $750 was better than 0.. But I started to realise that all the talk was not about others becoming or making anything in the process but what he can get others to make for him and what he can make out of it. Its like giving the game away right off the bat. Little do you realise at the time, you are the con.

So that was another product where I made even less than the before at like $100 a month of work.. 

Clearly I came to the conclusion that working at fast food was far more profitable than working for shady scammers.

Of Course I worked for some of those companies much later and realised what the game was that was played on me. They were all like, well why didn't you contact us directly and we could have put you to much better use.. But of course at the time it all happened, I had no idea who these companies were or who to contact. I only did 1 product and they paid me like $3000 for it. Since I already had all the code I had done before it only took less than day to rewrite it and get around the copyright and nondisclosure of the old version... The market was changing and they did not continue the old ways of releasing products.

I suppose the game of the time was to create a product, by using others and paying them less than 10% of what you made jobs style.. Then get rich and act you you are a visionary and market leader and you are the great find..

How come all these people who made so much money did not make the money by their own creative talent excpt by scamming others who were the brains behind the products. The only thing they did was scam others. Even the ideas were not their own and neither were the products. They just happened to be the middle men who paid peanuts to the people who actually created the products and who were the visionaries.

I also just found out there were 2 versions of Warp Speed.. I only got paid a little for V1.. They also had a V2 for the C128 with 1581 compatibility. Some slight differences between the 2. So where is the money for that one?
